Looks like we have survived the winter, and summer looks like it is around the corner. The Board and Committees are starting to wind-up and get things ready for the new season.
Be ready to help out and get the park opened up when we need ya.

IMPORTANT!
The electrician has advised us that the electricity for the whole park has been disconnected as of April 23, 2025 and may be off until
.
There is a large trench dug across the main park road heading to Sections A, B, C, D and H. Members will be unable to reach these sections by vehicle until this has been backfilled. This should be completed by May 9, 2025 also.
During the work by the electrician, there was some sewer pipe damage done in D section. May 9, 2025 is the expected date for completion of the pipe repairs.
We will send further information when the power has been restored, and the road and sewer repairs are complete.

The park would like to put together a team of water testers to ensure our drinking water is safe.
If you are able to be part of a team of 4-6 people to take turns testing the water that would be appreciated.
Please contact a member of the board to volunteer.

Due to the anticipated dry summer this season, the park will be performing fire safety checks on each trailer. Remember you must have a water hose connected to your outside tap and a working fire extinguisher and smoke detectors.
Please help keep the part safe and meet these requirements.

The HBTP Board would like to remind our members that lighting fireworks on trailer park property is NOT PERMITTED. This includes the dike and on the beach in front of our park property.
A permit from the Province of Manitoba is required to light fireworks in public.

If you are looking for a book to read or even watch a new movie – checkout the bookcases in the hall.
A big thank you to Brenda Guay and helpers for looking after the “Library” at the hall. Lots of sorting and cleaning up, getting rid of books that are falling apart. DVD’s have been kindly donated too….make sure they are returned, for all to enjoy!

It looks like we may have some new furry friends this summer, so this is just a reminder to please register your pets with Animal Control (Jim Forcand). Please send your name, pet name and type, and lot number to jr4can@gmail.com.
If you have a new dog, please pick up a sign from Jim to put in your trailer window.

Please be smart of remember not to flush items that do not belong in the sewer system. Believe it or not, some of the bigger culprits are food waste and grease. Yuk.

Just add the information and send it in. This will help us keep our information up to date in case you need to be reached.
There is also a form to update the OUTSIDE WAITING LIST as well. If you have sponsored someone on the list can you please confirm their contact information and send it to us. The information is not stored and only shows in an email to the board member.

■ 1-ply toilet paper, bodily fluids & water are the only things allowed to be flushed down our sewers..
■ Do not leave garbage lying around as it is a magnet for unwanted guests.
■ Please do not use the children’s park before 9:00 am please try to keep the noise level to a minimum
■ Watch out for our future caregivers…we might need them! Speed Limit is 8 KPH in the park.
■ Water hose is in working order.
■ Change your smoke detector batteries
